Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Allahabad Bank. Shri Dua is M.A. (Economics) and LL.B. He started his career as a Probationary Officer in 1975 and effectively shouldered various key responsibilities. He held many important portfolios in Bangalore, Delhi Mumbai, West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar and North East region. Shri Dua is credited for starting first overseas branch in Mumbai. Before taking charge as ‘Executive Director’ Allahabad Bank in 2007 he worked as General Manager, Corporate Credit in Oriental Bank of Commerce. Shri Dua has extensively travelled to various countries in the West, Far East, Europe and Middle East and participated in international banking seminars in San Francisco, New York and Mauritius.

Executive Director, Allahabad bank. Shri D. Sarkar is a Post Graduate in Commerce and Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA). He started his career with Bank of Baroda as Deputy Regional Officer in 1982 and has handled key responsibilities in the areas like Internal Audit, Integrated Treasury, SME & Wealth Management. He was promoted to General Manager (Wholesale Banking/Credit) in the year 2008. He has also served as Director on the boards of CDSL and Bank of Baroda (Botswana) Limited and also as a Trustee on the Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company Limited. Since December, 2009, Shri D. Sarkar is serving as Executive Director of Allahabad Bank.

Shri Akolkar is a Fellow Member of Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India (FICWA), Post Graduate in Management Studies (Bombay) & LL.B. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of finance and investments. Shri Akolkar started his career with General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC), as ‘Investment Analyst’. He handled various key assignments in the field of corporate finance, project appraisal, and treasury & funds management while working with reputed entities such as GIC Asset Management company, Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE). Prior to his present assignment at AllBank Finance Limited, Shri Akolkar also served as ‘Managing Director’ of Vadodara Stock Exchange Ltd.

Shri Gupta is Masters in Commerce and Bachelor of Law from Agra University and was rank holder in these examinations.  Shri Gupta is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and Diploma holder in International Banking and Finance.  Shri Gupta started his banking career way back in 1971 as ‘Probationary Officer’ with Punjab National Bank and rose to the rank of General Manager in the year 2001.  He was subsequently elevated to the position of ‘Executive Director’ of Corporation Bank and also concurrently held the charge as CMD of National Housing Bank (2004-06). He also held the office of CMD of Punjab & Sind Bank and United Bank of India (2006-08).  During the span three decades Shri Gupta successfully handled key portfolios which also included assignments with PNB Capital Services, PNB Gilts, PNB Housing, Corp Bank Securities and so on.  He also represented many important councils and committees and task force in the field of Banking, Finance, and Insurance and travelled extensively around the world and participated in various seminars and training programmes.

Independent Director on the Board of ABFL. Shri Sengupta is Science Graduate with Post Graduation in Marketing from the Delhi University. He is also holds Fellowship of Chartered Insurance Institute. Having acquired initial industrial experience in tea industry, he joined International Insurance & Reinsurance Company and had exposure to international insurance market. In 1972 Shri Sengupta posted with Managerial position with National Insurance Company and thereafter rose to the rank of Director in 1992. In 1996, he was appointed as CMD of New India Assurance Company followed by Chairmanship of General Insurance Company (GIC). His core strength lies in the field of Marketing, Risk Management, HRD and Investment Management. He held Directorships in many national and international companies. Shri Sengupta’s current engagements include independent Directorship for leading corporate such as DCM Shriram, Apollo International, Duncan Industries, and the consultancy assignment with Berkshire Hathaway group. Shri Sengupta has extensively travelled internationally as well as all over India.

Independent Director on the Board of ABFL. Shri Sharma is M.A. in Economics and a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India. Shri Sharma served Life Insurance Corporation of India for 35 years and superannuated in the cadre of Executive Director. During his tenure with LIC, he also held a position of ‘Chief Executive Officer’ of LIC Mutual Fund. Shri Sharma has also acted as Training Consultant and served Birla Sun life Insurance Company for 5 years as a Chief Training Consultant. Shri Sharma also chaired many AMFI committees and made his mark in Mutual Fund industry. His current engagements as Independent Director include Welspun group of Companies.

General Manager, Allahabad bank, in charge of Finance & Accounts .Shri Bhattacharjee is a Post Graduate in Commerce and Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA). He joined Allahabad Bank in 1978 as Officer. During the span of 30 years, Shri Bhattacharjee has held various important functions such as Credit, Rural Banking. He also worked as ‘Asst Vice President’ AllBank Finance Limited, on deputation from Bank.
